On the occasion of International Women in Mathematics Day, the event “The Math Gala” was organized by Department of Mathematics on May, 12, 2023.
The Math Gala event was conducted by the Department of Mathematics, held on May 12, 2023. The Head of the department of Mathematics, and faculty of the Department inaugurated the event, following several Games that were Human calculator, Memory Matrix and Shatranj were organized to motivate the students towards mathematics. Math Art Challenge was also arranged where participants showed their artistic attempt to reflect mathematics. Treasure Hunt was organized where participating teams were given clues, riddles, phrases pictures etc. to solve and reach to a specific location. The event concluded with the presence of Registrar sir Graphic Era Hill University who presented the gifts and certificates to all the winners. E-certificates were provided to all the participants and organizing committee.
