The Indian Team Shine on International Stage

Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun, is delighted to announce the exceptional achievements of the Indian Team on the international stage. Every student from the Indian team has been honoured with a medal or an Honourable Mention at the Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) 2024, held in Malaysia, a remarkable testament to their hard work and dedication.

  • Gold Medal: 1 (Rhythm Kedia)
  • Bronze Medals: 3 (Dakshesh Sanjay Mishra, Rajit Gupta and Aditya)
  • Honourable Mentions: 3 (Eppa Laxmi Narasimha Reddy, Kanishk Jain and Bhavesh Ramakrishnan Karthik)

The outstanding performance reflects the high standard of training provided at Graphic Era Hill University. The Department of Physics and the IAPT-APhO Cell of Graphic Era Hill University Dehradun, organised a Pre- Departure Camp at the University for the Indian Team from May 27 to June 1, 2024. The camp featured lectures by renowned physicists from across India and hands-on experiments from previous APhO exams. The meticulous nature of this camp provided students with the right environment which led to this fruitful result. The university takes immense pride in the Indian Team and their accomplishments, which underscore the institution’s commitment to excellence. The success of the team is a reflection of the rigorous training and academic excellence provided by the Pre- Departure camp hosted at Graphic Era Hill University,” said Dr. Vijay Kumar, HoD of Department of Physics and coordinator of IAPT- APhO cell, who also led the Indian team to Malaysia for APhO 2024.
