Members of the Legal Aid Committee, School of Law, Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun had the most fortunate opportunity to visit the Uttarakhand State Legal Service Authority, High Court Compound, Nainital. The Student body had the most gracious, lively, and interactive session with Shri Syed Gufran ji, ( Officer on Special Duty/Deputy Secretary, Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority ). Syed Gufran ji was most generous with his time and interacted with students on various aspects of legal aid and access to legal justice vis-a-vis criminal defence system, prison administration, various field projects, and importance of education system to participate and contribute towards access to justice for all. Student Members and volunteers were Headed by Dr. Shalini Bahuguna Bachheti ( HOD, SOL, GEHU ),and the meeting was organised and Facilitated by Ms. Avantika Chaudhary and Ms. Anupama S. Thakur.
