The primary aim of this workshop was to provide students with practical insights into the field of advocacy, arbitration, and mediation so that they can become industry-ready. Dr. Aman Hingorani is a well-renowned Advocate on Record and Mediator at the Supreme Court of India. The workshop was inaugurated and attended by the university’s Hon’ble Director General Prof. (Dr.) H.N. Nagaraja, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) R. Gowri, Hon’ble Registrar Dr. Arvind Dhar, and Head of Department Dr. Shalini Bahuguna Bachheti. Dr. Hingorani also shared some interesting anecdotes from his experience as a mediator in the Supreme Court of India, which helped the students gain a better understanding of the mediation process. In the second half of the day, Dr. Hingorani discussed his book “Unravelling the Kashmir Knot.” The book is a comprehensive study of the Kashmir conflict, and Dr. Hingorani shared his research and insights on the topic.
