Mr. Sanghapal Uttam Mhaske, has more than ten years of expertise in the field of paintings. He did his BFA from Government School of Arts, Aurangabad, while holding first class and position with distinction consecutively throughout his degree. Later, he enrolled for Master of Fine Arts portraiture in Sir J. J. School of Arts, Mumbai, where he was ranked first class position with distinction. Thereafter, he cleared UGC NET NTA exam in 2020. Presently, he is pursuing Ph.D research work from GEHU, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, under the supervision of Dr. Anirban Dhar and is engaged in academics as an Associate Professor in GEHU. He have received several national and international award including Northern Art Gallery London Best Portrait Painting Award; Silver Plaque Award from Indian Academy of Fine Arts Award (2023); Hyderabad Art Society Excellence Award (2022); Hyderabad Art Society Highly Commendable Certificate (2022 & 2021); 1st Award for All India Competition Mahshu Art Society Shimla (2022); All India Fine Art and Craft Society New Delhi for Best portrait; Best Drawing & Best Painting Award (2019,2020 & 2022); State Art Exhibition Award Government of Maharashtra (2021-2022); The Bombay Art Society celebrating 75 years of India’s Independence Award (2016, 2021); All India Indo- Mongolian Chamber for artist of the year (2019); The Bombay Art Society Best Drawing Award (2015); The Camlin Art foundation Award (2013); The Blue Entertainment Award (2016); Nashik Kala Niketan Award (2011); The Art Society of India Award (2011, 2016 & 2024); V.V. Oak Arts Exhibition Pune Award (2016, 2017, 2020); Ujjain exhibition Award (2009 & 2010); Karuna Creation Award (2010). He has also attended the National Painting Camp from Lalit Kala Akademi Painting and Sculpture Camp in 2023 at Porbandar, Gujrat; All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society, New Delhi Painting and Sculpture Camp; Lalit Kala Academi Camp Zunzunu Rajasthan 2020; Lalit Kala Akademi Camp Amity University Lucknow 2021; Nehru Center Landscape Camp Nainital, Dehradun, 2013; Raj Bhavan Landscape Camp, Mumbai 2013; Nehru Center Landscape Camp Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala, 2018; J K Jadhav College of fine art Mahacatna Camp, 2018. He did solo exhibition at Jahangir Art Gallery 2017 and group shows in Bajaj Art Gallery, All India Art and Craft Society New Delhi, Lucknow Rijnal Centre Lalit Kala Akademi, Hyderabad Art Society, Madhapur Art Society, Shimla Museum Art Gallery Mumbai.
