Dr. Chhabra key skills and areas of specialization include Textiles and Fashion Design with emphasis on History of Costume (Ancient & Western World), Garment Construction, Fashion Forecasting, Line Development, Textile Design- Concept to Product development & Wet Processing of Textiles. She has expertise in current subjects like Sustainable Fashion, Zero-waste Fashion & Ethical and Human- centric Fashion and Product Development. She has been actively engaged in consultancy and has provided over one lakh worth consultancy at UHHDC for Costumes of Uttarakhand. She has guided PhD examiner for Department of Home Science, Delhi University and Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Dayalbagh, Agra. She has been a Mentor and Judge at India Skills Challenge, Part of World Skills Challenge from 2023-2024.
