Mr. Girija Shankar Semuwal is working as an Assistant Professor with Department of Media and Mass Communication, Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun. He has an academic experience of 10 years in which 7 years are full time teaching experience in Communication and Media Studies. He has also been an Instructor at the Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur and has taught Communication in the full time MBA program of the Institute. Mr. Semwal is also associated with the Public Relations Council of India (Dehradun chapter) and Public Relations Society of India (Dehradun chapter) and his specialized teaching interests lie in the area of Public Relations and Corporate Communication. During his three year academic and research associateship program at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA), Mr. Semwal was involved in course design and development of significant pedagogical materials such as Management case studies. He has also published research papers in the area of Social Media Studies and Mobile Communication in Scopus and Web of Science Indexed journals.
