Dr. Taha Siddiqui is a certified Trainer with GNI (Google News Initiative) India Training Network wherein she conducts training for journalists, media educators and media students. She is also part of FactShala India Media Literacy Network and conducts training for local communities like SHGs to prestigious institutes like IMA( Indian Military Academy) . Under this flagship program she has trained more than 2000 people including NGOs, student groups, teachers, local leaders, rural women, youth groups and many others from hilly areas of Uttarakhand and other states. Dr. Taha has also worked as a freelancer in areas of filmmaking, scripting and research. She has also worked a Researcher to Professor Christiane Brosius of Heidelberg University, Germany. Her areas of interest are social media, media literacy, misinformation and disinformation, fact checking, and development communication and gender studies.
