  • Acted as a leader in Amar Ujala, driving the team for 18 years and played important role in taking it from 160 copies to 28 thousand of them in Dehradun City.
  • Team leader for Sahara India T.V. for Agra as well as Uttarakhand Bureau for 5 years.
  • Unearthed two major medicine scams in the state of Uttarakhand. Govt. Enquiry exposed involvement of more than twenty CMO rank officials.
  • Instrumental in unearthing resale of seized liquor from legal custody (Maalkhana).
  • Has Done Scripting and Directed more than 50 advertisement films.

Dr. Subhash Gupta has been associated with Graphic Era Deemed University, Dehradun as Professor in Media & Mass Communication from April 2017 to till date. He has worked as H.O.D. & Professor in Media & Mass Communication at Graphic Era Deemed University, Dehradun from May 2010 to March 2017. He was the State Head at Zee News UP/UA T.V. News Channel and Voice of India, National T.V. News Channel, Uttarakhand from February 2010 to May 2010 and July 2008 to February, 2010. Respectively. He was the Bureau Chief of Sahara Samay T.V. News Channel for Uttarakhand State / Agra Region from September 2003 to July 2008. Not only this, Dr. Gupta has also worked as Correspondent for NDTV India National T.V. News Channel from May, 2003 to September, 2003. He was also the News Editor / Special correspondent for Amar Ujala, Hindi Daily (Bareilly, Meerut and Dehradun) from March 1985 to April 2003. Till date, under the guidance of Dr. Subhash Gupta, four scholars / teachers were awarded Ph.D degrees for completing research in various subjects of journalism and mass communication. Four professionals are currently doing research under his supervision. He has published three books and seven research papers in International & National Journals.
