Lecture Series ‘Skill-Up Saturday’ | School of Agriculture

School of Agriculture started an online lecture series “SKILL-UP SATURDAY”. The weekly series started with the first lecture of Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor, GEHU, Prof. (Dr.) J. Kumar, who spoke on the topic ‘Entrepreneurship in Agriculture’. The Lecture series ‘Skill-Up Saturday’ is an initiative of the Agricultural Society (Literary & Art club), School of Agriculture, Graphic Era Hill University (Dehradun), Uttarakhand. The purpose is to strengthen the skills and broaden the knowledge of the students. The series provides an opportunity to expose students to experts in various industries, research institutions, and stakeholders of agriculture. Agricultural Society believe that in this dynamic world apart from academic studies, students should be aware of the different novel agri- research, industry functioning and career ahead in the field of agriculture from the experts in specific fields so that they can opt for the best career choice and excel in their life.

Skill–Up Saturday started its journey on 8th April 2023 under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) J. Kumar (Pro-Chancellor, GEHU) and Dr Neelam Basera (Society Coordinator, Agricultural Society). The Lecture series is coordinated by the members of the Agricultural Society.

It is organized in hybrid mode (online/offline), every Saturday of the week except holidays.
