“Graphic Era Hill University organised a Guest lecture under AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV on 1st July,2022.
The guest speaker was Dr.Ravinder Kumar Khetarpal , Executive secretary of APPARI, Thailand.
The Topic of the lecture was Agricultural Biosecurity – Where are we?
He talked about the challenges faced by agricultural system from global point of view, importance of bio security and opportunities for developing agriculture. He emphasised on collaborations and partnership among institutions engaged in agricultural development and bio security. He also recommended one stop shop for farmers as a solution to solve the agricultural crises situations and encouraged innovations and entrepreneurship.
