The School of Law at Graphic Era Hill University is one of the most prestigious departments of the University, running two full-time five years integrated programs like BA LLB and BBA LLB duly approved by the Bar Council of India along with LLM and Ph.D. in law. The department aims to provide quality legal education and prepare students for the challenges of the legal profession. 

The curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of law and legal systems in India and across the world. 

The faculty members at the department are highly qualified and experienced professionals with extensive academic and practical knowledge in their respective fields. They are dedicated to imparting knowledge to the students and mentor them to become competent and responsible legal professionals. 

The department provides excellent infrastructure facilities that include well-equipped classrooms, a moot court hall, a library, and a computer lab. The moot court hall is designed to simulate a real court environment and enables the students to develop their advocacy skills by participating in mock trials and moot court competitions. 

The department has a Legal Aid Centre which provides legal assistance and counselling pertaining to legal matters in rural areas with the help of Faculty members as well as meritorious students. 

The department also organizes various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to enhance the overall personality of the students. The students are encouraged to participate in various moot court competitions, debate competitions, legal writing competitions, International and National Conferences and Seminars, Mediation and Conciliation Competitions and other activities that provide them with a platform to showcase their talents and skills. Industrial visits to the Supreme Court, High Courts of different States, jails and various tribunals in different States are an integral part of the teaching to give practical exposure to the students. 

The department regularly hosts workshops conducted by legal professionals and experts in legal education. These workshops offer specialized lectures on a range of legal topics, providing students with valuable insights and knowledge from experienced practitioners in the field. 

The department has a dedicated placement cell that assists students in finding job opportunities and provides career counselling services. Apart from this, the department has a strong alumni network that includes legal professionals and academicians who are actively involved in the growth and development of the department. The alumni network provides students with mentorship and networking opportunities, which are critical for their career growth. 

The department has collaborations with various national institutions, which enable the students to gain exposure to different legal systems and cultures. The collaborations also provide opportunities for the students to participate in exchange programs, internships, and research projects.
