Graphic Era Hill University’s School of Law recently organized the 3rd National Moot Court Competition, drawing participation from 25 prestigious universities and showcasing exemplary advocacy and legal skills. The competition commenced with a felicitation ceremony, where Mr. Ankit Purohit, Head of the Department, and Mrs. Nishtha Kohli Wason, Faculty & Convenor of the Moot Court Club, extended a warm welcome to distinguished guests. The panel of judges included prominent legal experts such as Adv. Vikas Guglani, Adv. Aditya Giri, Adv. Anand Kumar, Adv. Ankit Lamba, Adv. Shubham Joshi, and many others, bringing a wealth of experience to the event. The competition concluded with Bennett University emerging as the Winners and Symbiosis Law School, Pune securing the Runners-up position. Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology was awarded the Best Memorial, while Amity Law School, Noida’s participant earned the title of Best Researcher. Special congratulations were extended to Akansha from Bennett University for being named the Best Mooter. The event saw insightful contributions from distinguished judges including Shri V.K. Maheswari, Dr. Adish C. Aggarwal, Mr. Gajendra Giri, Adv. Aditya Singh, and Mr. Rohit Arora. The chief guest, Hon’ble Justice U.C. Dhyani, Chairman of the Uttarakhand Public Services Tribunal, delivered a thought-provoking address that enriched the competition experience. Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Jasola praised the event’s success and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to supporting extracurricular activities in law education. The competition underscored the School of Law’s dedication to fostering legal expertise and academic excellence.
