Graphic Era Hill University’s Department of Physics and Civil Engineering has joined forces with the esteemed Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) to enhance global consumer rights and awareness. As part of a national initiative, 65 dedicated students from the university participated in an orientation session organized by BIS, DHBO. This collaboration aims to foster a more equitable and informed market by developing Indian Standards and advocating for consumer empowerment. The joint efforts underscore the commitment of both GEHU and BIS to building a market environment where consumer rights are upheld, and every voice is valued. This partnership is a significant step toward creating a knowledgeable consumer base and reinforcing the importance of standards in consumer protection.
