Dr. Ahmed has sound knowledge and expertise in Drug Regulatory Affairs, Analytical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Clinical Pharmacy and Hospital Pharmacy. He is also known for his counselling and mentoring skills. His area of research and interest is patient centric and he has carried out studies on patient treatment adherence and counterfeit/substandard quality of medicine. He has written five research publications in national and international journals, and a book chapter. In 2016, his work on substandard quality of medicine is highly appreciated by ‘C&EN Magazine’ and also became the highlights of many newspapers and magazine like India Spend and Business Today. This year his work is again highlighted by the Channel News Asia (Singapore Base News Channel) due to relevant information in his research.
