From farm to table, agriculture fuels our nation’s growth and prosperity. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on April 27th, 2023, between DTown Robotics Pvt. Ltd., Noida, a startup owned by our proud alumni Mr Avinash C. Pal (GEHU) and Mr Manas (GEU) of class 2017, B.Tech. (E&C), and Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun, to promote the use of drone technology in agriculture!

The MoU was signed and exchanged between Mr Avinash Chandra Pal, CEO, DTown Robotics Pvt Ltd., and the Registrar of Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun, in the presence of Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor, Dr J. Kumar, Hon’ble Director General, Dr H.N. Nagaraja, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr R. Gowri, and Dr Y. P. Singh, Associate Dean, faculty, and students of SOA.

This MoU is a significant step towards revolutionizing the way we farm and sustain our nation’s food security. With two-thirds of India’s population relying on agriculture for their livelihoods, we must adopt innovative and sustainable practices. Drones can help farmers detect crop diseases, monitor soil moisture levels, and even reduce the use of harmful pesticides, resulting in higher yields and improved efficiency. On that note, let’s work together to empower our farmers and promote sustainable farming practices!
