A fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in India, CA Bijaya Laxmi Thapliyal is pursuing her doctorate in Human Resource Accounting from Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun. As an Assistant Professor in School of Commerce, she has successfully combined her teaching expertise with her profound knowledge in accounts and finance. With over six years of experience in teaching and research in the field of accounts and finance, she has made significant contributions to the academic community and her corporate experience of four years adds a practical dimension to her teaching. The unique blend of academic and industry allows her to provide real world insights and bridge the gap between theory and practice. CA Thapliyal has organized workshop on E-Filing of Income Tax Returns in association with other faculty members of the department, providing valuable guidance to participants and helping them navigate the complexities of taxation in the digital age. CA Thapliyal has also contributed her insights to the book chapters on Tax Planning for Uttarakhand Open University ensuring that her expertise reaches a wider audience and benefits students and professionals seeking guidance in this area.
