AWARDS/HONORS

He was nominated as an honorable member of the Focus Group in the area of “Educational technology for School education” by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Uttarakhand, on Oct. 22, 2021.
He was nominated as a Jury member for the Students Engineering Model Competition (SEMC) at 4th India International Science Festival (IISF-2018) held on Oct. 5 – 8, 2018, at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Dr. Pokhriyal received his doctorate in Physics from The LNM Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur, Rajasthan. His research and teaching experience of over six years involves studies on the synthesis and applications of nanomaterials, thin film devices, solar photovoltaics, and sensors. Dr. Pokhriyal has more than 15 peer-reviewed research publications in journals National and International, edited books, indexed conference proceedings, and seven published Patents and Designs to his credit. He is a life member of many national organizations working in Physics. Dr. Pokhriyal has delivered many oral and poster presentations, and invited talks at national and international scientific events. He is the reviewer of more than five International Journals. Dr. Pokhriyal has been supervising Ph.D., Postgraduate, and Undergraduate students in their research work, primarily on nanotechnology, solar photovoltaics, and magnetic materials.
