Dr. Anupriya Adhikari is a well-versed academician and versatile Researcher with 10 years of experience in teaching and research in the domain of Chemistry. She is currently serving as Assistant Professor in Department of Chemistry at Graphic Era Hill University, Uttarakhand, India. A University topper in M.Sc. from Gurukul Kangri University, Dr. Adhikari received her doctorate in Chemistry from Gurukul Kangri University, Haridwar, Uttarakhand and has previously worked as a research fellow at the prestigious Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), DRDO, Delhi in a project funded by Govt. of India. Her research and teaching experience of over 10 years involves studies on synthesis and preclinical evaluation of inflammation targeted molecules for molecular imaging and therapy. She has been actively involved in research work since her M.Sc. where she did two short projects entitled “Spectral Analysis of MAO antagonist for designing Novel Drug Molecule for Neurological Application” and “Spectroscopic Study of Interaction of Hoechst 33258 with Bovine Serum Albumin” from INMAS, DRDO, Delhi. After her PhD, she joined in UGC funded research project as DS Kothari Postdoctoral Fellow in Department of Chemistry, BBAU, Lucknow. Dr. Adhikari has also briefly worked in Central instrumentation Facility of esteemed CSIR lab, Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP) in Lucknow and is well versed in handling high end instruments such as GC, GC-MS and HRMS instrument. She has attended various workshops on Computational Chemistry, Drug Design, Instrumentation, and Radiation Safety. She has more than 15 peer-reviewed research publications in the refereed international journals (Molecular Pharmaceutics, Drug Development Research, ACS Omega, Bioorganic and Chemistry, Neurochemical Research, Pharmaceutical Research, Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry etc.) and edited book chapters to her credit. She has also delivered numerous oral and poster presentations at national and international scientific events. She also serves as a reviewer for Journals such as Heliyon, Pharmaceutical Research, etc.
