Dr. Chaudhary received her doctorate in Microbiology from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, India. She has worked as a junior research fellow at the Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, India and Senior Research fellow at the ICAR- National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal, Haryana, India in two different projects funded by Govt. of India. Her research and teaching experience of over 5 years involves studies on various aspects of soil microbes, nanotechnology, bioremediation and antimicrobial resistance. Dr. Chaudhary has more than 50 peer-reviewed publications in international journals. She has published 33 research papers, 9 review articles, 18 book in international journals like Applied Soil Ecology (01), BMC Plant Biology (01) Frontiers in Plant Science (01), Frontiers in Microbiology (02), Frontiers in Environmental Science (02), PLOS One (02 Paper), Scientific Reports (03), Plant and Soil (01), LWT-Food Science and Technology (01), Journal of Hazardous Materials (01), 3 Biotech (6), AMB Express (1) etc. She has edited a book in Taylor & Francis (CRC Press) entitled “Advances in Nanotechnology for smart agriculture: Techniques and applications”. She has been supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research work primarily focused on maintenance of plant & soil health using microbes and nanoparticles. She has been a guest editor for the Frontiers in Environmental Science. Dr. Chaudhary has peer-reviewed over 60 research articles for various Scopus/SCI indexed journals such as Applied Soil Ecology, BMC Microbiology, Frontiers in Microbiology, 3 Biotech, Archives of Microbiology, Sustainability, Agriculture MDPI, Agronomy, Frontiers in Environmental Science, Current Microbiology, National Academy Science Letters and Plant growth Regulation etc. She has over 1580 citations, h-index 24, I-10 30.
