A gold medalist in Ph.D., Dr. Joshi received her doctorate in Animal Biotechnology and has worked as a Project Associate at the prestigious Wildlife Institute of India (WII) for consecutively 4 years in different projects funded by Govt. of India. Her research and teaching experience of over 8 years involves studies on various aspects of animal sciences. Besides being actively involved in research work in the form of funded research projects, Dr. Joshi has organized 2 international workshops (with the support of international agencies, European Bioinformatics Institute, Cambridgeshire UK) and over 10 national-level conferences, seminars, training, and outreach programs. She has also imparted academic consultancies to student-trainees from other institutes. Dr. Joshi has more than 20 peer-reviewed research publications in journals national and internationally, edited books indexed conference proceedings, and one externally funded project to her credit. Dr. Joshi has delivered numerous oral and poster presentations, at national and international scientific events.
