The Department of Physics of GEHU in collaboration with the Indian Association Of Physics Teachers (IAPT), successfully hosted a five-day workshop on “Quantum Computing and Simulations”. Esteemed faculties, including Dr. Rajeev Singh (IIT BHU), Dr. Prabhat Jaiswal (IIT Jodhpur), Dr. Garima Mishra (Ashoka University), and Prof. (Dr.) P. C. Deshmukh (RV University) led sessions covering the essentials of quantum mechanics and computing. The workshop, aimed at professionals, researchers, and students, featured interactive discussions on qubits, superposition, quantum circuits, programming, and entanglement. Students got engaged in interactive sessions to grasp the concepts of qubits, superposition, quantum circuits, quantum programming, and entanglement firsthand. The enthusiastic participation of attendees, both in-person and online, highlighted the event’s success in demystifying quantum technologies and sparking interest in the future of computing.
