The 4th Intra moot court competition , 2023 commenced on 6th June,2023 with blessings and support from our beloved Chancellor Sir Honorable Prof.(Dr) Kamal Ghanshala Sir, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr) Sanjay Jasola Sir, and came to it’s enthralling conclusion on 8th June, 2023. The final round was judged by a panel of three judges consisting of dynamic personalities like Hon’ble Justice Rajendra Singh Chauhan (Vice-Chairman, Uttarakhand Public Services Tribunal) Adv. Ankit Lamba (Advocate, District Court and High Court of Uttarakhand), Adv. Sumit Dhawan (Vice President, Dev Bhoomi Tax Bar Association & Advocate, Uttarakhand) who also shared their experiences and valuable feedback with the students and motivated them to work hard. Prof. Dr. N. Nagaraja (Director General, GEHU) also graced the event with his presence and encouraged the students and participants with his words of appreciation. The competition turned out to be a success due to the combined efforts of Dr. Shalini Bahuguna Bachheti (Head, SOL, GEHU) and Ms. Nishtha Kohli, Mr. Daman Shekhar Rana and Mr. Aditya Thakur, Faculty Coordinators of Moot Court Club, SOL, GEHU along with the management of the University and the student body. During the 3 days, we witnessed an exhilarating showcase of legal expertise and advocacy skills. Participants, armed with intensive research and preparation, presented compelling arguments before a panel of esteemed judges. The simulated courtroom environment allows law students to experience the complexities of real-life litigation, honing their abilities to think on their feet and navigate legal principles. It was a platform where the pursuit of justice met intellectual discourse, where participants engaged in passionate debates, and where judges provided valuable feedback and guidance. 4th Intra moot court competition was a testament to the dedication and passion of future legal professionals, shaping the leaders of tomorrow’s legal landscape.
